I am a Roman Catholic husband and father.  I work to support my family, and while I believe I do my job well, nothing I do at work will truly change the world.  What I do for my family is a different story:  no matter what else I do in my life, my wife and I have made the world a better place by having and raising our wonderful children.

This blog is a place to chronicle my journey to learn, understand, and communicate the knowledge and wisdom of the Catholic Church.  I gained a very cursory knowledge of the faith when I went through RCIA in the early 1990s.  It will take the rest of my life to develop a deeper understanding and appreciation for what Jesus Christ’s Body on Earth – the Catholic Church – teaches and lives.

I hope through this blog to help share the teachings of the Church.  This blog is intended for Catholics who are on the same journey and for others who sincerely want to know what the Catholic Church really teaches.  It is not a place to criticize or questions those teachings.
